Can I buy a CPAP machine without a prescription?Updated 41 minutes ago
You do need a prescription to purchase a CPAP, APAP, or BiPAP machine, as per federal and Texas state laws. These machines are classified as Class II Medical Devices by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which requires a prescription for purchase. Therefore, cpap.com cannot process any orders for CPAP machines without a valid prescription.
